My three-year-old loved watching this. The animation is dark but appealing. The story follows Little Wolf Alexander Pownallwho is not bad enough for his family. It is also very slow paced.

I give this DVD 4 out of 5 stars and recommend it for ages 5 to The story follows Little Wolf Alexander Pownallwho is not bad enough for his family. I may be compensated if you make a purchase using my link. This project also took about minutes. Adult reviewer. Possible questions for discussion: What did you think of the Rules of Badness?

Kids will easily identify with Little Wolf as he struggles to figure out what to do. In the end, Little Wolf decides not to follow outdated rules of proper wolf behavior but to be true to himself. I couldn't make myself excited by anything in it. Despite a really promising beginning, filled with a bunch of laugh out loud bits, I felt rather annoyed closer to the half way point. This is available on DVD now so check it out.

This project also took about minutes. Bigbad sends Little Wolf out to some troops and he, in turn, learns many lessons from them.

Listen and read with the young people in your life and have a blast as you LOL. It Little Wolfs book of badness book super disappointing because I thought it'd be an awesome chapter book to go with our fractured fairy tale unit. So it's up on you to decide. Adult Reviewer. The type of animation that is used made me feel as if I was Little Wolfs book of badness book my own imagination.

Reviewed by Rachel V. I really was kind of scared when the character Big Bad came on and yelled at Little Wolf. This is the kind of feel-good story that every child needs to watch. I personally love this film. I don't remember reading such a short children's book my edition is pages for sooo long For example, when he is first introduced and he speaks, I knew Little Wolf was going to have a tough time in Cunning College.

Possible questions for discussion: What did you think of the Rules of Badness? It sets the tone of the movie as it reflects Little Wolf's feelings. Befriended by a pack of Cub Scouts, the little fellow is at long last awarded a badge--albeit not the one he left home to earn.

The animation is dark but appealing. I know and like both Gamgon and Thewlis from the Harry Potter films. Uncle Bigbad wears a grey suit, with a yellow shirt and blue tie which reflects his personality as an evil wolf but also one who has the potential to have color or goodness in his life. Uncle Bigbad is a hopeless teacher, but armed with determination and native wit, Little Wolf thinks things out for himself.

This is probably intended, but it is kind of distracting. Bigbad curses like a trooper, only the rude words are filtered out so that we have things that are "blinkin', blunkin' brilliant! This is great for ages 7 to 11 and I give it 5 out of 5 stars for being so cutely inspirational.

It teaches kids through a wolf who is supposed to be bad, but wants to be good. This is available on DVD now so check it out. As Little Wolf ventures through the woods to reach Cunning College, I heard the fear in his voice and sympathized with him.

My favorite part of this show is the animation.Dec 24,  · Little Wolf's Book of Badness.
